Journling Alternative
All my references to journaling so far have been referring to using a pen & paper. Many people prefer to keep a computer journal. For me, this loses a lot of the tactile experience of “getting the feel” of it from many perspectives.
There is the actual feel of the pen in my hand, the feel of the words being formed and therefore taking on a life of their own as they emerge into this time/space reality. I also get an additional vibration as I add playful stickers and other embellishments to my pages. This exercise is purely for the fun of it, but I enjoy it.
Here’s a shot of one of my journal pages. It pleases me to make the pages fun and interesting to look at.

So…maybe you think this is a little silly and you’d really prefer to keep your journal on your computer. If you don’t already have your journal set up on your computer in a way that’s convenient and well organized, take a look at this one. I don’t use it personally, but it may be just what you need to get yourself going with journaling.
